Lots of positive reviews of this, definite mid period intensity and passion of Neurosis, but even if you are not keen on my comparison, this is a very cool record.
黑之爱丽丝
Industrial atmosludge; taking the pummeling of industrial but adding some Neurosis flair to stop it from getting boring. Well-constructed and surprisingly restrained; the only blast section on the album comes as a highlight. When was the last time THAT happened?
Favorite track: SEX / OBLIVION / SEX.

Conceptually brilliant, intricately constructed and expertly played. I really can't get enough of Wheelfall's consistent ability to raise the bar from album to album. I think the term that comes to mind each time I hear this cycle of songs is psychologically heavy: the music matches the concept. Fabien W. Furter is kind of an under the radar visionary badass. Just listen to "Glasrew Point," "The Atrocity Reports" and this album in order. Quite the artistic achievement that should be recognized.
Favorite track: Amplitude Death.
Darknight
Disturbing concept album about humanity and WOW!,its a masterpiece of nightmarish sounds of a new heaviness that needs to be heard. Wheelfall have constructed the album of all albums,so prepare to scare yourself.
Favorite track: Cold & Pure.
Cheveu Miracle
Wheelfall are back and this new album shows the same power, maturity and song-writing qualities we've already had the pleasure to hear on their previous effort (The Atrocity Reports).
Be sure to experience the whole concept by grabbing the limited artists-fanzine edition AND by spending dedicated time on the lyrical content, because Wheelfall goes deeper than the musical layers!

Favorite track: Wisdom is More Erotic When Wasted.
You'll get the goosebumps as you feel the impeding doom of those Smiths semi-covers. They make Morrissey sound like a badly beaten vacuum cleaner while Johnny Marr's strumming his guitar with his nose thus drinking his own blood. The last song is probably an unapologetic plea in favor of the death penalty for the french teachers in Minessota. Is it by chance that this album came out just before the Capitole invasion? I don'k know, as I wait for the physical release to listen to it.
Favorite track: Perverse Technology.

'A Specter is Haunting the World' is a concept album that was built around an idea: to put human beings back at the center. Of society, of music. With its flaws which make all its magnificence. That's why it appears necessary to grip to reality, whether tough or fortunate, to not being out of our depth in a world that has become so artificial, ruled by productivity and the market laws.
'A Specter is Haunting the World' will be accompanied by a fanzine in which 8 visual artists have completely freely adapted the 8 tracks that compose it.
From songwriting to production, including the desire for independence, everything in this album comes under this search for reality.
Synopsis:
Imagine that you feel so tired that you want to put an end to everything. Although you are a quiet citizen, you've grown fed up, feeling a bitter of dereliction... The feeling that you are shackled forever, with no hope for better days. The sensation of progressing painfully without headlights in a tunnel with no emergency exits nor nightlights. Having decided to take action, you then ask yourself the question of the person or persons responsible for this spoliation. Who are the authorities and people who shut down hope and light to take full credit? Who benefits from this true social injustice if not the bosses and their institutions? Those who swear only by profit?!
This is the reasoning of the hero of the concept album 'A Spectre is Haunting the World', an ordinary man who, pushed to the limit, turns his suicidal impulses against global capitalism, overnight. Soon after he decided to rid society of this scourge, he elects as his first target its greatest representative: the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, and for modus operandi a live execution, facing the whole world.
20 minutes, it's the duration indicated by the countdown of the bomb he has just placed, holding his knife firmly on him. Is he going to act, with no possibility to go back to his old life? 20 minutes is also an interval for the memories that come back... A time that each track of the album proposes to dilate and detail, in order to tell what can lead a man like any other to want to commit the irredeemable.
The story of an ordinary demon who refuses to die.

WHEELFALL is Fabien W. Furter, Maxime Hanné, Florian Rambour, Thibaut Marquis and Thibaut Thieblemont.
WHEELFALL is a constantly evolving band, combining influences from Post-Metal,
Avant-garde Metal, Noise Rock and industrial music among other genres. You’ll hear in the band’s music the rage of a NEUROSIS, the heaviness of GODFLESH within tortuous and dissonant atmospheres evoking TODAY IS THE DAY....more
Honestly, one of my favorite albums of the decade. The music is crushing and bleak Noise-Rock, with a Metal side and sometimes a deranged saxophone. The artwork is absolutely stunning. Wheelfall
Released this year, I spin this album really often: at parties, at home... Sort of modern new-wave/electronic, this is music that can make you dance, but can also make you think: perfect! Wheelfall
